We value every chance to introduce younger pupils to the people who built the school. In February the Basic 9 class met Mrs Jane Alhassan, known to generations of pupils as Auntie Jane.
Auntie Jane began teaching a small group of children, her own among them, in 1968. Her reading scheme is still taught in every year group today.
